At last: a portrait of our male dog Joris, aged 4 years, a genuine Staby (pron. sta-by with the emphasis on "by" (pron. as the English "by" and the "a" as in "what"), one of the 2 Frisian dog breeds. The breed name "staby" means "standby", notice the kinship between Frisian language and English. He is a lovely dog and likes nothing more than getting sticks out of the water. See also his statue.

Thanks, also on behalf of Joris! What a nice way to reminding me that I have to mow the lawn :-) I always feel so pity for the daisies, but after 2 days they already have made new flowers.

@Kheoh Yee Wei: I think you're right, I notice that the smallest details can distract the attention from what it's about. Thanks.
What a beautiful dog you have, great capture :)
