Last week end there was an open day on all Dutch eco-farms. Normally goats are kept in isolation to prevent diseases but this time visitors were allowed in their stables. This is shot in Fochteloo in East-Fryslân. Their cheese is delicious and can compete with camembert, full flavoured and creamy, yet solid in substance. Of course we bought a pound, much cheaper than camembert (7 Euro's).

@Shiva: We goats are not amused but we are sure that Erik appreciates your use of a Dutch word. Anyway, thanks for the visit, we feel more senang now. And remember, we have famous scholars in our family!!
I don't think I've ever said this before, but this makes goats look....pretty. :)
Lovely picture.
