Abide with me; fast falls the eventide; the darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide. When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me.

@Evi: Thanks, because of the big amount of rain last weeks many Dutch tourists go to your country, but you see, rain with intermediate clarities can also be attractive. I remain in the Netherlands, sailing on the Frisian Lakes and IJsselmeer, also to make a lot of nice pictures, not all of them rainy I hope.
tremendous clouds ! beautiful nature's shot !

@Kheoh Yee Wei: Thanks; when we were strolling around in the house doing little things, we saw a strangely colored sky, it was late in the evening, as if there was a big fire. It appeared to be the late sun whose light was reflected by the thick grey raincloud layers; of course I hasted to grab my camera and go out with the dog. The colors you see are really natural and not processed.
You have to print this one into a poster and hang it on your wall! Great shot!!! :) And deep words.

@HorseRotorVator: HRV, thanks! Poeple who saw this and the next pictures could'nt believe that such immense views could be seen in their average, dull little village and could be made by one of their neighbors, but this shows that people tend to underestimate the greatness of everyday world things, and that nature doesn't bother about everyday-ness and dullness; my wife and a colleague thought that picture no. 3 (tomorrow) had been taken on a far-away exciting island instead of around the corner. Can you imagine!
I am moved by this pic and words you wrote. I remember them when I feel alone....

@miu*: Thank you miu*, but the words are not mine... I just quoted them.
Late in seeing this one; it is a beautiful capture and a great way to caption it. "Abide With Me" is a great old hymn that fits this scene, hand in glove.
