Above the Clouds II

PLease read the text and give comments my friends, but I am on holidays now until 22th of July (Sunday). I posted some images in advance until the 20th of July.

After ten minutes, the cloud stretched underneath us like a blanket over the valley deep below...

@Soodabeh: Thanks, Soodabeh, it was our reward for the climbing walk which started underneath these clouds and we felt pity that the weather wasn't clear, but this changed when we were high enough, as you can see.

@priya: Thanks, Priya, I'm sure you have these mountains in Canada, too, but I think these circumstances we have met are rare even in the Alps. But we enjoyed the best moments!

Wow, what a beautiful shot! That must have been even more amazing to see in person but you have captured it well through this photo!

@Tal: Thanks, Tal, we were very surprised indeed when we came above this blanket, at first we thought it was a bit of mist but apparently Nature can draw a sharp boundary between mist and clarity, and the sun does the rest. You notice the same in a plane: during climbing there's nothing but mist outside and all of a sudden you are above a snow white blanket in the sun.
