There are several of these herds along this coast, one of them became world news when their field got under water during a storm; luckily the horses could flee to a small hill from where they couldn't be rescued by professional help services, but only by two girls who on their own horses went through the water to the herd and managed to lure the horses with them to dry land. This situation made some prize winning pictures of course!

@Seraphine: Thanks, Seraphine! The horses were very thisty, indeed because it was salt sea water that surrounded them, thanks also for the saying I didn't know it but I get confronted with it every day with all those students at my work :). I hope you also watched the second movie which you can click after the first one is ended. Then a menu appears with the official news movie on top where you can see the horses being rescued from their island by the two girls, spectacular and touching!
