Stimulated by Wolfgang Prigge I looked up this picture of modern electricity mills (wind turbines) from my archive. Yes, Wolfgang, often they are not that ugly and our eyes are used to picturesque old mills. Maybe our grand-grandchildren will preserve these mills also as industrial monuments. I saw your pictures of them, too and they confirm what you said.

Thank you! I think you are right, future generations will be used to the turbines and won't have any problems with them. Sometimes, when I hear people denounce anything new in technology, I have to think about a sketch I saw on TV several years ago. In it two cavemen were talking about the new invention, the bow and arrow. They were convinced that there would be more rain in the future because the arrowswere making holes in the air! BTW did you get my messagewith my e-mail address?

@Wolfgang Prigge: Thanks Wolfgang; the steam train also was a Satan's invention with its smoke and fire. Yes I received your mail and just sent a reply.
NICELY done!! With this image in b/w, the whole concept comes jumping out from the frame. The sky is outstanding with those "windmills"!!
PS. In southern Alberta where there are tons of these (figuratively and literally) they do tend to be an eye sore against the mountains. There are also problems with the amount of birds being killed by these types of windmills. So even though these windmills are so great in so many ways there is an environmental impact. So much like life, eh, you can't win for losing.
