Highway across the Randmeren

Posted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 12 September 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Driving from Utrecht to Flevoland you cross this bridge before entering Flevoland, the land conquered on the IJsselmeer in the 1960's.
The sky seems scratched like an ice floor by skates, thanks to the neighborhood of Amsterdam airport "Schiphol" (about 30 miles from here), and/or planes flying from London to Eastern destinations and to/from Brussels / Paris to Scandinavia.

Wolfgang, did you say something about "de la petite bière"? :-)
