Here I tried to make a pictural haiku.
In words:
The wind wrinkles the water; Waving images of dark bushes Are broken by a bridge. Erik Tjallinks

Belle composition, mais un peu sombre. Chez nous dans l'est du Canada septembre est un mois de lumière avec beaucoup de soleil.

@Wolfgang Prigge: Merci, Wolfgang.

@e.: Thanks e.! I come at this place about 2-3 times a week to and from my work, nice to see the relativity of everything.

@Rebecca: Thanks Rebecca, in fact my haiku is not according to the strict rules, but I couldn't resist the temptation of alliteration and other Western sound- and rythm features. So it's more a hybrid between East and West (a bridge :)). I think the essence of a haiku is the evocation of a mood you get in when experiencing and/or observing a natural occurence, Western poetry too much wants to describe or analyze in poetic form both occurence and mood, the haiku wants to register as accurately as possible only the mood-evoking occurence, it stands closer to nature I think. Japanese people know what I mean. I once read about a business meeting in the evening, it was about negotiating and far from poetic. The Westerners at the table were very astonished when the meeting was interrupted to give everybody the opportunity to go to the window and watch the full moon, which they watched in silence during about fifteen (costly!) minutes. These are nice things to keep in mind.
Lovely peaceful photo!
