I promised Rabbit a series about food, but last two weeks were so beautiful and from this week on all leaves have been blown from the trees, that I postpone the food till after this series.
Thank you for visiting my p-blog and leaving your comment and advice!

Tiz ok my dear holding off on the series of FOOD next week is closer to US Thanksgiving which is ALL about FOOD -Besides i LOVE photos of mushrooms. This looks like an image i would see in a book to show off this type of mushroom. i think they are cool looking because they look like they have cinnamon sprinkled on top of them.

@Rabbit: Thanks Rabbit, I was maybe inspired by your cappucino with the cinnamon on the mushrooms :), but you're right: isn't it funny that nature offers us so many things that we humans find beautiful and attractive? In Amsterdam there's a zoo named "Artis" after the saying "Natura Artis Magistra": Nature is Art's Teacher.
Nice low angle and great lighting.

@badala: Thanks badala, the lighting was more or less coincidental because the sun was just beginning to hide, and after a while it started to shine again. So it went on during all day that day.
Great shot, very nice pov, great color.

@Ina: Thanks Ina, now you must enjoy Springtime!
I keep waiting for a little fairy or gnome to pop out. Excellant shot...I love mushrooms.

@Candace: Thanks Candace, for waiting :), I didn't have the patience for in the trunk you see I saw a little cobold's door (not visible on the pic), but I didn't want to wait until dark, then they come out to collect hazelnuts and stuff.
Beautiful photo of mushrooms! I really like the pov.

@e.: Thanks e., me too, for the POV see my reply to Amy, and I risked a stain in the knee of my trousers but I don't care about that for a good picture.
Fantastic shot Illuci!!

@amy: Thanks, Amy, it was also because the mushroom stood above a slight slope in the terrain which gave a nice background.
This is so wonderful Erik, I love the angle of this shot, it works perfectly.
