Responding to the challenge of Dimitrios, here an example of the rare graffiti I found in my environment. It reflects the individuality of today's society in the Netherlands: no political movements and ideologies, but only one's name's initials.
Taken at the railway station of Hurdegaryp, the place where I live.
My brother has recently opened his aminus3 photoblog, everybody is cordially invited to see his lovely pictures on http://lightwriter.aminus3.com. Many of them are really terrific and he is a real acquistion to the quality of aminus3!
Thank you for visiting my p-blog and leaving your comment and advice!

That is very telling indeed. Fantastic statement, Erik. I like your find.

I have to add that maybe it's written by somebody who is homesick to Bulgaria that recently joined the European Community, so its inhabitants have free access to the other EC countries. Lots of immigrants from those new member states which formerly were communist countries now leave their country temporarily looking for a job. .bg is the extension of Internet-URL's.

@Martine: Merci bien, Martine!
Hi Erik, Graffiti in Hurdegaryp. It is rare. The big black board makes me curious. Also the little "BG" inbetween the two big ones. BG mama, BG papa and BG baby. Your announcement about my blog is really too much honour. thank you.

@peter: The black board was put there by the railway company to give the opportunity to put graffiti on it, but as you know graffiti writers don't like official opportunities :), no I'm just kidding, it's the back side of a board for commercial posters, you can see them when you are on the platform along the rails. No it's not too much honour, your pictures are more than worth it.
I wonder if the reason that people seem to graffiti a lot around railway stations, railway bridges etc., is because of they are assured of an audience? A great find Erik. We may never know what lies behind the meaning of these letters, but someone obviously felt that they were important enough to them, to put them there.

@MaryB: I don't know either, maybe it's also the atmosphere of nostalgia hanging around them. Thanks.
I think it was written by a Big Guy (or perhaps a couple of them). Nice one!

Thanks Damon, good suggestion, too! The letters also suggest bigness. Maybe he (she, they) was (were) members of a music band called the Big Guys. In the seventies (they must be old people by now) there was a band called the BeeGees or BG's, but I don't think the graffiti refer to that.
