@kairospix: Thanks, Kairospix, he was his internship coach, so they knew each other well!
Seems to be so much simpler thant the elaborate ceremonies we have here on the other side of the big pond, nice smile!

@Wolfgang Prigge: Thank you Wolfgang, I agree, but it's a matter of culture, the Dutch want everything "as normal as possible", maybe you noticed the clothing on the previous picture. The graduates are distributed over normal classrooms and every graduate gets a personal word by their internship or personal coach teacher. We have three such ceremonies each year. In the Netherlands we don't use special capes or caps as we see in the UK or USA, and maybe Canada too, but regular "tenue de ville". Yes, he can smile very nice, but he's also nice, and is a look-alike of our minister of education, Mr. Plasterk.
