My dear Aminus blogging friends, Thank you for all all your kind comments! When we appraise this way each other About ourselves we will not bother
A little poem because around this time we in the Netherlands are preparing Sinterklaas (5 December) when we exchange presents with accompaning poems to each other. Traditionally we're not used to exchange presents at Christmas although this beocmes a trend more and more under influence of retail industry (they want to earn at both occasions :).
In Leeuwarden it's called "Achmea Tower" (e and a pronounced separately) and it's designed by A. Bonnema (1921-2001) who lived in my village (see here and here). I like this kind of architecture more and more because by its simplicity it both attracts postive attention and directs also attention to its environment without damaging it visually. I don't know if Bonnema had this in mind, he was inspired by the idea of combining functionality with esthetical design.
Thank you for visiting my p-blog and leaving your comment and advice!
I'M ON HOLIDAYS UNTIL 9TH OF AUGUST, I POSTED SOME IMAGES IN ADVANCE UNTIL 31TH OF JULY. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON AND HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY!

@Wolfgang Prigge: Danke Wolfgang! Je te vois courir dehors pour prendres des photos, et remarquer que tu as oublié le caméra :)! Mais je suis jaloux, ici ce n'est rien que de la pluie, l'un jour après l'autre :(
Yes the architecture is wonderful in its simplistic nature. I think it looks like the way simple drawings of cities are done with just a rectangle & then its little square windows as i have drawn when i was younger.

@Rabbit: Thanks Rabbit, it's such an experience to share such familiar views with people far away! This is what I see almost daily.

@peter: Hi Peter, to encourage others to have a look too, I make this link to your blog.
Beautiful, en look the moon there.

@Dhini: Thanks Dhini! The moon seems to be smaller than she really is, maybe it's because the focal length is only 7 mm, I shortened it to get the whole building on the picture.
hiya, just returning comments. uh, it's a dried leaf of a coconut tree. yep it's that huge. oh well, regarding your photo, i do like it. i can see that moon and the building, it's kinda like a bauhaus thing and lead the eyes to that moon. i like it!
