This square uses to be quite crowded but now nobody was there, so I took the occasion to let the buildings speak without distracting (because always interesting) people. The picture is taken in early spring this year, but light and leaflessness are as they are now a bit earlier in the afternoon on a clouded day.
The buildings you see are, from left to right: - a shopping mall, with the entrance of an underground parking garage; - the city public library (classic building, just visible) - the Friesland Bank (with the green dome and the grey façade) - an office building, housing several offices - the Court of Justice (red brick)
The arcade-like small building in the middle is just for decoration. The whole place is used as a market several days per week.

@bima: Terima kasih, Bima! There are a few Indonesian expressions I know and if I don't know a word I look for it on Internet. Salam lestari.

What a beautiful stormy looking place.

I bet that is odd to see a place that normally has so many people in it. I think its like walking in an empty school. It looks so different when all the students are there.

@Rabbit: Yes and guess what the school board decided? To keep the school open on the Monday between Sunday and Christmas (Tuesday), even though all lectures etc. are cancelled. It's simply a waste of heating and electricity because nobody will be there, maybe me to photograph an empty school, but I'm not THAT fanatic :)
