Menno (right) playing Stratego with my brother-in-law who visited us with his wife to celebrate Sinterklaas evening. I'm proud of this picture because the camera was hand-held, no flash, with a minimum of blur.
Thank you for visiting my p-blog and leaving your comment and advice!
I'M ON HOLIDAYS UNTIL 9TH OF AUGUST, I POSTED SOME IMAGES IN ADVANCE UNTIL 31TH OF JULY. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON AND HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY!

Hi Erik, indeed a splendid catch. You managed to put down the relaxed atmospohere of the two playing the game. All because of the quality of the light ofcourse!!! Beautyful colour balance too.

Leuke mensen.
Lovely shot on a lowly lit indoor! Very nice tones and the monet too is special! Very good work, Erik! One of your best pictures!

@Sriram: Wow, thank you for this big compliment! But what is a monet, I searched for it in dictionaries and on Google I only find the French painter Monet, is it photo-jargon?
It's a pity Menno doesn't post anymore.... Anyway... Merry Christmas to you and your family!

@Eleftheria, 9 years old,: Merry Christmas to you too and to your family! Next week I'll post a nice painting he made of a horse with a rider.
Nice warm colors in a cosy atmosphere! Well captured Erik, love it!

Wow! Erik, this is a brilliant hand held capture. You have posted some wonderful photographs whilst I was away too! I hope you and your family are keeping well :)

@MaryB: Thanks MaryB, nice that you're back again, I noticed that you were away during the time I've been neglecting you, I don't believe in coincidences, it just had to be that way :) As for the hand-holding I realize that when I was in the army (1964-1966) I won prizes with shooting, well now it pays off at last :). We are keeping well, thanks, I hope you too!
This is incredible for a hand-held shot. Are you sure you were not a sniper in a former life?

Wonderful photo. I love it. Great.
