Harlingen 1

Posted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 18 December 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Harlingen is an old, small and beautiful harbour city to the Wadden Sea, the water between the Wadden Islands and the North Coast of the Netherlands. The ships you see are part of the brown fleet, preserved and maintained thanks to tourists embarking for trips to Scandinavia and the UK.

Shot taken during an Saturday afternoon walk (17 December) which my brother and I made hunting pictures. It's 30 minute driving from the village where I live. See also his blog (http://lightwriter.aminus3.com|).
