Christus Immanuel

Posted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 26 December 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

Just like yesterday, the same concept in its opposite form. Immanuel means God with us and by His birth He showed that He is with us. Not as a king or nobleman but as a son of simple carpenter and his wife who couldn't get a place in the inn, you know the story. In doing so He showed the ultimate kingship by the most humble identity (if I can find the right words but you know what I mean).

So I took a simple image of the cradle and the people and animals around it to emphasise this, as it hangs in our Christmas tree.
From now on I'll be gone for a couple of days with my family in a mansion house of the School for Practical Philosophy - more about it after I come back. In the meantime you can watch pictures I posted in advance. I hope you 'll enjoy them. I'll be back the 1st of January.

Thank you for visiting my p-blog and leaving your comment and advice!
