@eddy: Thanks, eddy, the tree is amazing indeed and got its shape by years of cutting followed by years of negligence.

@Steven: Thanks Steven, I liked the regular, egg-shaped crown which is so beautifully visible in Winter.

@Ina: Thanks you Ina, I get more and more convinced that what we called "Kitsch" in the seventies, isn't Kitsch at all but enduring beauty!

@badala: Thanks Badala, I tell you how I did it: first give it sepia, then tint it by adding dark blue (very slightly!) and you get this ink-like color, it becomes almost Van Dyk -brown, known from old ink drawings.

@Evi: Thanks Evi, the style of this picture was inspired by your husband's site, some day I'll learn :)
