You've caught the thickness of the woods very nicely here. Well done.

@Michael Skorulski: Thanks MIchael, I hope to visit the woods of Slovakia once, they must beautiful I've heard.
a very moody sceen, like the leaf carpet!

@Dimitrios: Thanks Dimitrios, the underneath the carpet ants have their homes in the little hills, I put the camera on one of them, in Summer it wouldn't be possible, the image would be blurred by ants crawling over the lens :)
An ideal place to take photos! Trees are always good models, the older, the better!Great angle here and very moody atmosphere, I can almost hear the leaves under the feet making dry sounds. Gabriela

@Japanalia: Thanks Gabriela! I would like to have a walk with you along these trees and talk about things that really matter in life.

@eddy: Me too, but I strive for best quality, and I don't always succeed, everybody knows that feeling. Thanks, eddy!

This photo is well composed and has a lonely feel to it.

@Steven: Yes, originally my text was: "Only the lonely can fully appreciate the silence here" but that was too much association to the famous song of Roy Orbison which I didn't find very well suited to it.
A beautiful image that truly captures a sense of peace and solitude.

I feel as if i have now become lost in the forest - Do you know the way out?
8 Jan 2008 3:29pm
@Rabbit: Well I'm glad to raise this "illuci-on" by this picture, in fact it's not difficult to find the way out, I was walking here during lunch break and was back when we started working again :)
WOW. The subdued tones and the entire composition here are so beautiful. Utterly wonderful sense of hush and depth to this piece. I love it. Thank you also for your comments at my post today, Erik. I deeply appreciate them. :)
