We almost close this series with a further landscape viewed through the gallery of the amphitheatre as promised. Tomorrow the very last picture of three oaks, or of a young lady, who knows?

Nice framing job. I like the different colors and textures in the landscape. Well-done.

@Wolfgang Prigge: Le cadrage était un cadeau - il était déjà là, il ne fallait pas chercher!
I've just been looking back at the earlier tree pictures [#3 wasn't there -- maybe an aminus glytch] I especially like this framed shot.

WOW. Utterly lovely framing and composition in this one. I so much love the depth of field here, and tremendous detail and tones. Truly WOW again.

@Rabbit: Thanks Rabbit! Sometimes I blame my camera when a shot isn't what I expected from him, and I did all me best to let it succeed: after all, it's a cheap and old 4.1 MP camera, but seeing results like this I know that it's me assessing the light and circumstances, and the commands I give him (shutter, F) which make the result, and not his lack of quality. Of course, better cameras give better results but they have a broader range of circumstances for success, so they allow more mis-assessment by their owner, and allow for higher ISO's, my ISO is maximum 400, but I never use it because its blur is far worse than movement blur caused by ISO=100 and longer shutter time. So I always use ISO=100 and use whenever possible a mini-tripod, especially in Winter.
This is a striking image and you have framed it very well. The DOF is also very good. Altogether a compelling photo.
