Street Firework #2 (last one)

Posted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 12 January 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

In our street we had set up a tent where we could get warm wine and chocolate, wishing each other happy new year. Here you get an idea of the mist which gives a special effect.
I brought somebody home by car at around 1 AM, and I had to completely rely on the white middle-of-the-road lines, and drive at pedestrian's speed.

Later I read that the fog's thickness was caused by the fireworks being lit everywhere in all villages and cities. It caused an enormous amount of microscopic particles in the air, giving water damp the opportunity to form microscopic mist drops. So the weather was already misty, but the mist was enhanced by the fire works.
