Hotel School#5: Salle à Manger

Like the innkeeper is, so he trusts his guests(Dutch proverb)

This is the school canteen which is called "Salle à Manger" (Eating Room) and is more luxurious than it is in comparable schools without a Hotel Department. Nobody says "Salle à manger", people have reduced it to "SAM" (see you in the SAM!).
To reduce the cool atmosphere and make it more student-like, sacks and wooden crates are put against the counters, their color could make you think you are in a swimming pool:).

That salad bar looks very tempting. I like the atmosphere, it somehow resembles the Sizzler chain of restaurants in Japan.I think the decoration on the salad bar makes it look very cozy,too.

It looks a great place to eat, the students are lucky to have such a department in the school. I really like the colours and the brilliant display of fruit and veg on the left.
