Intermezzo: Breaking NewsPosted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 28 January 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Birds that sing too early, are for the cat About 2-4 weeks earlier than usual, I caught these snow drops (Galanthus Nivalis)in one of our neighboring streets. It means that Spring is coming, breaking news! I suggest its name to be changed in Galanthus Algoreus, after Al Gore). My other photo-site: click here for Flickr

Astrid from NetherlandsThey are very early this year, but you captured them very well, I love the green grass around it and even the sun was out, nice job here, spring is coming soon :-)) 28 Jan 2008 8:59pm @Astrid: Thanks Astrid, I took advantage of a few hours of sunlight, I also captured them in dark weather, they do it well in B&W, soon to be posted on Shutterchance) Rabbit from Richmond, United Stateswhat pretty beauties to find. I love how they hang off to the side in your photo. 28 Jan 2008 9:00pm @Rabbit: I love them too. They stand for modesty, humility and innocence and yet they are so brave blossoming already in Winter. I find they exude the same as lilies of the valley (except their fragrance because I get mesmerized when I smell lilies of the valley) standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceBeautyful composition.
