Leeuwarden III #4: Flour and dairy factories

@vu@granby - Wolfgang Prigge: Ja je hebt gelijk: vierkant, strak en functioneel, maar soms kan dat mooi zijn. Along the Meuse in Belgium there are also wonderful "walls" of industry buildings. Correction: "look the same" in English is in Dutch here "hetzelfde eruit zien". The way you put it in Dutch means that industries are able to "look"as if they had eyes. In English "to look" is both "to appear" and "to see", in Dutch we dont have this double meaning of "kijken". So in correct Dutch: "De industrieën schijnen in de meeste delen van de wereld hetzelfde eruit te zien". Nevertheless congratulations because Dutch seems to be one of the weirdest (and by consequence most difficult) of the German languages.

@Porcsin: Thanks Porcsin, I also found this sun through the smoke is what the picture makes interesting. I found it also an experiment to picture a whole building from the shadowside. Because it was early in the morning the sun wasn't bright enough to make sharp contrasts so it worked out well.

@MaryB: Thanks MaryB, yes, the canal (it isn't a river) is used for transportation from and to the factories, but there's also a lot of truck transport, and formerly also train transport (on the other side the railroad is passing the factories).
