Lauwersmeer: front side of Danish ship

"The shore keeps off the ship"
Dutch proverb meaning that the circumstances prevent a plan to get implemented (often said about political plans, e.g. measures to raise employment which will result in raising unemployment because of new economical developments).

@HorseRotorVator: Thanks HRV! I don't understand it very clearly: are there also boatshots that are not peaceful, except shots of fighting war ships? BTW in the 17th century Dutch boats were not that peaceful :)
