Hurdegaryp: landscape

Posted by Illuci (Hurdegaryp, Netherlands) on 10 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The green, green grass of home!

March moves its tail ("Maart roert zijn staart")
Dutch proverb, meaning that in March you can expect any kind of weather, especially chilly, stormy an rainy weather types.

This is awesome photo-weather, but you need to be very quick in getting the camera, switching it on and tuning it in, because every ten seconds the light and sky and the landscape are different. I already made a couple of failed attempts that day, all between the normal activities.

I'm not 100% satisfied because I had to sharpen up the image a bit, but on the other hand it looks like a 17th century painting, so too much crisp isn't good either.

Please put your image on large for a better view.
