A strange duck in the icehole
Dutch saying used for something or somebody you wouldn't expect under the circumstances or environment.

Dear friends, I changed my yesterday's picture into the colored version (originally it was sepia but some of you wanted to see it in color). I appreciate very much your interest in our beautiful landscape! Originally I found the color green a bit too prominent, now I learned how to mitigate colors locally in selected areas with my new processing program, which I applied to the picture, and I found it indeed better than the sepia version. Thanks, my friends that you instigated me to learn and improve!

Driving through a piece of forest somewhere in Fryslân I found this boat, it's not been copied into the picture. Here I also had to mitigate the green, I'm glad I'm able to now for in most pictures on my cameras (not the most expensive ones :)) the green is greener than the eye perceives green in nature.
