This is my response to Behrooz' challenge that came to me via MaryB. It's my dream for the future, although I must admit it's an ugly picture. But the symbolism in it I find challenging:
1. May all weaponry in the world be overtaken by peaceful, smiling hardworking people. Here you see three of them having a smoke up and around a tank. 2. May I stop smoking, or, better, let there be invented a cigarette that doesn't harm the health. Would this be possible? I am not a wise and scholarly man, so when I say it's impossible, then there is a good chance that it will indeed be possible. Anyway, the three men on the picture are smoking.
The picture is a commercial ad printed on cigarette paper packages in the fifties (when almost everybody was a smoker). I buy this brand regularly (shame on me) but I dioscovered that the manufacturer has re-printed the ads on the packages for nostalgic reasons.
Anyway, a weird and ugly picture, stained by traces of filthy tobacco, but bearing a grand symbolism...

I agree with you Erik, it would be a much better world if people used their energy for peace. A fine image and dream Erik.
