This landscape is in the Southern part of the Netherlands, some 3.5 hours driving from the landscape of yesterday, and shows us how it must have looked like in the time of Vincent van Gogh who lived in the same area.

So beautiful, the soft colors and landscape. I like how you have just a tiny bit of reflection of the tree in the water, and I might have been tempted to shift my position just a little to pick that up even more. I like how you've divided up the pictoral space.

It's a lovely country.
This scene actually reminds me of some rural areas in the state I live.

Yes, picturesque....and it must be painterly by the time everything is green....OR...when everything is covered by snow!The white tree trunks would be beautiful accents in both situations.
