Yesterday it was Queen's Day. The color of our royal family is orange because of their name (the Orange Family, after the Prince of Orange-Nassau who led our country during its freedom fight against the Spaniards in the 17th century). So I chose orange flowers as a foreground to out national flag.

A wonderful image Erik, I have heard about Queen's day and always wondered why people dressed in orange on this day, now I know, thank you. What a beautiful orange flower, do you know it's name?

Real good choice for the contrast of colours! Makes the shot cheerful, but dignified!
