Pilapedimania

Pilapedimania (li.: "football-disease") is a well-known people's disease. Mostly it's harmless, sometimes it can lead to riots and frustration. Often it evokes deep national feelings and euforic behaviour for many people, next to the saddest mood for other people. People with a heart deficiency are advised not to watch soccer matches during periods in which pilapedimania is endemic. For them the disease can be lethal. Social scientists didn't find its cause yet, let alone a remedy. I post this one hour before Holland (color: orange, after the name of the royal family wich is "Van Oranje") will have a soccer match against the national team of France. Everybody is insecure about the outcome, pilapedimania is ruling everywhere.

I added this half an hour after the match, and I feel some fever coming up: I'll get it too! Orange won the match with 4 to 1, after having won the match against Italy with 3 to 0. Italy was the world-champion, France the second best directly after Italy. So....
